Joseph, I have the same exact issue with my Canon I-70. I like to attempt to fix things on my own so I opened it up and discovered that one of the main gear wheels that operate the paper feed rod is cracked. I am not sure if it was always like that (I doubt it), but the whole gear wheel is cracked so the gear teeth have separated a bit. When the printer attempts to feed the paper the gear turns and when the cracked side where the teeth are separated hits the other gear connected to it the misaligned teeth do not allow it to proceed. Honestly it looks like a very simple change of the gear wheel will solve the issue. My problem is that I do not know where to buy this piece. Can someone help me to find the specific gear wheel? Generally printers will not work if one cartridge is empty so you will have to buy another colour cartridge

Could be a piece of paper stuck somewhere, open all access areas and check carefully, sounds like an obstruction somewhere

Go to usa.canon.com and download the appropriate driver. Most generic drivers that come with windows don't work well with the canon products

Something is clogging the paper path. A foreign object may have fallen into the printer causing all the problems.

THERE IS A CODE THAT UNLOCKS THE HEAD. IT MAY BE THE SAME AS THE I80 PRINTER. DO NOT FORCE HEAD. THE CODE IS PUNCHED IN BY THE FEED BUTTON AT THE TOP. I WILL TRY TO FIND THE CODE AND REPOST.

This error is with the DC controller board needing replacment or repair. This would take a service tech to come to your home/office to fix. We only can tell you what the causes are, it will need you to follow up on the fix. The charge for service on a DC controller is over $400 alone.
