Colors to my prints are getting less vibrant, more like they've faded in the sunlight. I compare prints now with when it was brand new and they are not the same. Toner cartiridges are replaced regularly. Any idea what's wrong?

Howdy! i am not going to charge for this is just a suggestion, and what the heck, it's Saturday! Anywho, is there ANY chance that you have changed cameras or even with the same camera, perhaps are using a different pixel setting, there is also a routine thing that comes up and that is in fact the print head itself, they do wear, especially the lower models, NOT THAT YOURS IS LOW!!!! you have a very nice HP there.... But, with all things, they need to be replaced from time to time..... PLEASE let me know if these suggestions are not hitting anything and I would be glad to investigate further.... THANK you for using FixYa, it is a pleasure to assist you today, take care and again, please let me know if you still would like further assistance.... Guy :)

Mitsubishi wd-52327

Its more likely that the front and rear mirrors need to be cleaned. The mirrors tend t get dull and that will cause the picture to become dull and the colors wont appear as vibrant as normal.

Sheets how to wash do not fade?

I believe it's Tide, I could be wrong, but one of the major brands has
a detergent that helps to keep colors from fading. Also, don't wash them in hot water. The new detergents work just as well in cold
water as they do in hot. If you can line dry them, during the day when they can get a breeze, without being in the sun, that might
help keep your colors from bleaching out. If the sheets are from
your sons bed, you might think about getting some of those pads
like the hospital uses. You know the blue ones that they always
put under you on the bed. They make some that are pretty big.
I would check at a Walgreens or CVS. They should carry them.

Faded printing on 5x7 size paper

Sure. One of the papers is probably clay based (Shiny) and one is rag based (rough and dull). Clay based produces the most vibrant inkjet images and rag based produces the best laser printer images. I bet the two papers are different in composition. I see this all the time.

Fading prints and new cartridge error, will not aliegn

It's possible it is the new cartridge, but it sounds more like the print heads. I had the same printer and same problems until I changed the print heads. You are better off buying American Made Printer Ink Cartridges Even If They Cost A Little Less Than Name Brands. I get mine from www.officeinks.com with a 1 year quality and satisfaction guarantee with free return shipping. I have used it once and had no hassle.

Standard black printing has faded to grey.

Could just be a faulty cartridge?

My hp printer developed a similar fault, and despite all my attempts to clean, realign, whatever, the problem wasn't solved till I fitted a new ink cartridge. It's worth a try.
