Need instal hardware to my computer to use printer

Your printer should have been packaged with a USB cable regardless of whether it is a wireless or wired printer. Plug the cable into your printer and your computer's USB port. The direct linking should trigger your computer to recognize the printer and start up the software needed to complete the installation.

You need to install the softeware first with the printer unplugged from the computer!

Insert your softeware disk and restart your computer, if computer doesn't detect new software when it is rebooting....than go into your control panel...click on install new software.

Once that is installed, you'll need to restart again with the printer hooked up this time.

Again, if computer doesn't detect new hardware, go into control panel, click on install new printer, you will have to select the make and model, or if you have the disk, select have disk, then next...you computer should install the hardware for you printer.

After installed, restart again...to see if if new software and hardware is detected and is being installed.

Go to your printers, from your control panel, and see if your printer is there, if not select, add new printer, it will take you through the process from there. Make sure you select this to be your default printer!

To install your printer, connect the printer to the computer or laptop usint the cable that links it up.

The computer would see it as a new hardware, you can install it from the bar that shows up from the tab side, or you can also go to the computers control panel, select add new hardware, then a list of new hardware found will appear, then you select the versajette m400 printer, and install the drivers.

After doing this, you can now start printing with your printer.

When your computer got repaired, the operating system probably is reinstalled on the PC. In that case the driver for the printer is not on the
system any more.

When you did already connect the printer before installing the printer's driver:
1. First remove the printer in the hardware manager:
Right click My Computer, select Properties > Hardware > Hardware Manager > Printers: right click the printer and remove the device.
2. Install the driver for the HP F380 from the disk that came with the printer or go to the support site for the software & driver download:

Select the software & drivers and next select your operating system for the correct download. After the download of the Full Feature and Drivers, run this software on the computer.
Connect the printer after the installation has completed or when during installation the software asks to do so.

First, connect your printer to the power and to the computer with the USB cable. As soon as you connect the USB cable, the computer will ask you to install the hardware that is had found. Insert the printer's drivers CD and follow the instructions. Good luck
