There
is an error in the in the server password or a template setting.
Here is the documentation. Pretty straight forward
Login to the Server was not possible during Scan to Server file transfer.
Initial Action Refer to BSD
16.1.
Power OFF/ON
Procedure Set the login name and
password in the destination server.
Set the attributes of the Job Template file correctly.
From a client PC, set the same account as the above as a resource using CW.
Hi
Thanks
for answering so quickly
But
I am no expert and I found your instruction very difficult for me.
Can
you add more guide lines with no keywords (like BSD /…)
Did
u add any documents to your post? My browser cant display any of that .\
Can
I get the documents in links ??
So
my problem is this – I need to scan to folder (SMB something???) .
I
create a special user for the scanner machine with administrator authorization .
I
create a folder on the server with authorization for everyone and the scanner
user .
When
I press "scan to SMB " on the machine and I fill all the fields that
required then I press
start
and I get the error code : 016-782
thanks
a lot .
Rika
Setting up a scanning template using CentreWare Internet Services (CWIS) will fail if the user login name is a domain user, for example, ADSdomain\testadmin.
