Hi. I read your fault diagnosis procedure at the forum, and took a chance to ask you a question if you want to answer it. I read 70-78 V at the heater tags in cycle. Not 220V. Resistance at the heater is about 30 Ohms. It`s probably not teh heating element that is faulty then? And in that case, what shold I look for next? It\s a 5 year old AEG 5270.

SOURCE: how do i fix error code 30?
I did like it was suggested and it functioned! Can't believe it. Actually I tipped the machine over, but not till the end (very slightly). It was a bit water on the ground. I removed it and put the machine upright. Thanks a lot!

i fixed the problem by tipping the machine over slightly, as suggested by other members, about a pint of water came out the bottom and it now seems to work perfectly.

Just fixed a similar problem on an AEG F3A by following other advice on this site. Simply tip the machine forwards on to its door (best empty it of crockery first!!!).and then put it upright again when water has stopped dripping out of it. You wil get quite a bit of water on your floor which I reduced by pumping the water out of the salt resevoir first - but if you don't have a pump just have several towels handy

SOURCE: AEG DISHWASHER, DOES NOT HEAT WATER.
I had this same problem on our AEG dishwasher. The reason was on the controller board. There is one relay switch which drives the heater element. One of the legs of that relay box was disconnecteds from the circuitboard. Check this out.
