The error code means the fuser is not warming up or is not turning "ON" . Have you had a power surge recently? To reset it you have to go to service mode... To get in press these bottons on the control panel as follows > "*" then the numbers "2&8" at the same time then the "*"... The display will change then press "COPIER" Funcation > CLR (2nd collum) > ERR > then press "OK" in the bottom right corner. Then press the Reset key twice and turn the main power switch OFF on the right side and then back ON... If the code will not clear you have a bigger problem. Good Luck

What do I need to get error code as machine is not working

If your machine has a digital display and there is a associated fault with the machine then an error code will automatically be shown in the program window but if there is no known fault then no code will be shown. Some machines use a varying array of flashing lights or beeps to display a fault and with these machines you would need to count the bleeps or note which lights flashed and in what sequence. These fault codes only show when there is a fault with the machine

My washer error message unit detect a problem

The most common solution for this message is to turn the machine OFF and then ON. If the error resets, you are done.

However, this message will sometimes cause the control to stop the machine from working. With this type of error, the control panel will need to be reset. The following steps will allow you to reset your control.

Solution:

  1. Clear the ERROR from the screen: Press and hold the MY CYCLES and BACK buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. The control will display any recorded errors. Please write down what error codes are shown on your screen in case service is needed. If a MORE icon is displayed on the screen, press MORE to list additional errors. When the EXIT button appears, press EXIT.

  2. Remove Power: Follow the onscreen instructions to remove power (unplug unit) and then immediately plug unit back in.

  3. Clear Setup Mode: After power is restored, a setup screen that begins with "Congratulations..." will be shown. DO NOT PRESS the OK button shown at the bottom of the screen. Press the START/STOP and POWER buttons simultaneously until the Home Screen is displayed. Your unit is ready to function normally.

Hitachi sf-95kj washing machine stop and shown error code c4 when it's go to spin mode

A lot of new machines need the hoses cleaned out. The slime up. The pump gets shut down and the unit won't spin. Unplug unit before you service it to avoid shock. Top has to come off, and front also.

F4 code

Usually the error codes are shown as like E4 which would be E4: You hit the reverse button while the bobbin winder shaft was moved over to the right. Move the bobbin winder shaft to the left. If you have any further questions or feel that the error is an F error code instead of an E error code message me back and I will look futher into your F error code but even if you click this link which will bring you to the brother error message site click here http://welcome.solutions.brother.com/BSC/public/us/us/en/faq/faqh/000000/000000/000064/faqh000064_000.html?reg=us&c=us&lang=en&prod=hf_ce5000eus&Cat=56 it still basicly says the same thing and the errors are shown as E's. I await your reply if you have any further questions Thanks Rick

Push start and machine wont fill and draining/unlocking light sarts blinking about 2 seconds later

My machine had the exactly same problem:
1. Push Start button to wash, but Draining/Unlocking light will flash right away. The drum started to run and stopped
2. No error code shown up
3. Run Quick test: no error code
4. Run Universal Test: error code F25 (later, found nothing wrong with the CCU)
What I did:
1. Clean the bump: found coins and strings.
2. Clean the drain pipe from the pump to tub: found more coins.
3. Clean chamber of pressure switch at the tub: found nothing.
4. Clean the gap between tub and drum: found a credit card!
After the cleanings, the Draining/Unlocking light would still come back and I almost gave up. Amazingly, I ignored it and a few minutes later.... the machine started to run as normal!
It seems that CCU needs sometime to reset itself after the failure.

My ge profile harmony washing machine has a message that says "a problem has been detected with this unit."

Washers - Harmony Washer Error Message or Code
The Harmony washer electronics can automatically determine if problems exist with the machine. Sometimes an error code can also be present because of things the machine cannot control: like changes in house voltage, water pressure, or temperature.

"A problem has been detected with this unit" will be displayed on the screen.

Error code 20

I searched other similar models because mine was not shown. I found a similar problem with the solution provided - took off the front bottom panel, detatched the pump and hose and pulled out the small sock that was blocking the pump.
