With this machine YOU don't oil it. It is "factory sealed" with all the oil it's supposed to need. If things get stiff or difficult to operate you are supposed to call your nearest authorized dealer and arrange to take it in to them for servicing. Hope that helps. have you put the bobbin in the right way up? there is a right way and a wrong way as in anti clockwise or clockwise look at the book. x goood luck

have you tired changing the needle--flat side goes to the back of the machineit's also possible that the machine is out of timeor that the needle shaft is bentif you've already changed the needle & it's still hitting the foot then the machine needs to be serviced

when this happens have you check to see if the thread has come off the thread take up lever?
