Check the air vents, from the freezer to fridge. Air travels through those vents. Sometimes, products get shoved under the vents, preventing air flow. It sounds like, the vents are clogged with something. I guess, the fan is working inside, of the freezer? Ice in the bottom, of the freezer pan, could be clogging the vents. You'll have to dig deeper. Good luck.

Auto defrost system not working properly
staying in defrost to long, door gasket leak
compressor overheat,controls turned up max
all above can cause your problem
even cloged defrost drain
I would suggest check the coils to make sure they are clean . Also check the fan which cools the compressor to make sure it is working . When you unplug , it gives the compressor time to cool down a bit , but after it restarts , it will get hot again and stop cooling .
Hi, If you changed relay, overload, & capacitor on the compressor and it still clicks on and off, the compressor has gone bad and will need replaced. Is this unit under five years old?
let fridge cool down it sounds like the relay overload is bad try replacing it with a 3 n 1 start kit directions on the kit real easy to hook up... if the compressor starts then you are ok... hopefully the compressor is not burned out good luck
