Kenmore refrigerator leaking water under unit??

Sounds as if it’s coming in when the icemaker is filling. I would check supply lines to ice maker and water filter if applicable or maybe water valve itself along with associated tubing

Kenmore side by side model

I had the same problem. Sometimes the tray overfills and freezes in the little line that fills the ice cube tray.

I solved the problem by taking an ice pick and clearing the ice from the end of that little waterline until the water started flowing again.

Where is the defrost switch on 106.53592300

Not sure there is a manual defrost switch. Look at the link below for defrost switches for your model. On some refrigerators, if you set the temperature switch to off and unplug then plug in the refrigerator it will force the defrost mode; then unplugging and plugging again will reset the mode.

The freezer fan runs continuosly

It may be because there is some air leak into the freezer. Check if it is closed air tight. Also try defrosting the freezer. Check the fan after that. It may stop working continuously.

Freezer stopped making ice

Without any more information regarding the specific symptoms, diagnosis will be difficult. However, assuming that your refrigerator has a factory built-in ice maker, there are several items to check: 1. Is there water flow to the icemaker? If not, check the water supply line (small tubing) and make sure it's not clogged. Disconnect it and blow it out, then reconnect. 2. Check the small saddle valve on the water pipe where the tubing to the refrigerator connects. If it's full open, then it's possibly blocked with calcium buildup. Close your main water supply valve, remove that saddle valve and replace it with a new one. Before doing so, make sure that the hole in the water pipe is clear and full open. It may also have some calcium buildup. If so, simply drill it out with an appropriate sized drill bit. 2. The solenoid valve which activates water flow to the icemaker may have stopped functioning. Check the electrical connection to the solenoid valve and ensure power is getting to it. If it is, then the solenoid valve most likely needs to be replaced. 3. Check the manual for your refrigerator. It should include instructions on how to bypass the automatic function and *manually* start the icemaker.

How do I remove the sticky residue from a label placed on the outside of my new refrigerator without damaging the finish?

Soak a cotton ball with WD-40 (or equivalent) and apply it to the sticky residue area. Allow it to penetrate for a couple of minutes. Then gently wipe the area with that same cotton ball until it loosens and picks up the adhesive residue. Once that's done, simply cleanse the treated area with any dishwashing liquid or similar. Rinse and wipe dry.
