Yes you will need to replace your fuser however, it is best to order a maintenance kit P3305's are notorious for eating pick rollers and separation pads. Be careful though and make sure you get the right voltage 110 (Continental US)or 220 volts (European) Prices range from just over a hundred to the two hundred something range.

I work with this model printer a lot and it has a fairly high failure rate so hopefully it works out for you

How can i solve clean unable 50 on my brother printer

This is a fuser error. Remove power for at least 10 minutes and reconnect power.
If the problem is still present it is either
Faulty thermister in the fuser
Blown fuse in the fuser
Porr fuser cable connection
Blown heater element.
The fuser can be repaired IF you can get the parts (difficult in some
countries) and if you are happy to strip the fuser out of the printer and
repair the fuser.

Note
This error may be reset by holding down the SET and GO switches together until
the backlight turns green and then while holding down the switches turn power
off.
CAUTION **** This operation is not for the faint hearted, if the fuser is hot
when you do this the fuser WILL MELT ****

Hp 4m shows service error 50

Hello,

The service 50 error indicates a bad fuser assembly. You can get one on Ebay for less than $50. To replace the fuser just open the door on the back of the printer, inside you will see the fuser, unscrew the 2 screws and pull the old one out. Insert the new fuser and screw it down, power on the printer and you should be good to go.

I hope this helps, If so please rate our solution.

Error code- 50 service

Hi Sheila,

The following page gives the reason http://www.all-laser.com/cgi-bin/webc.cgi/error50.html

Seems the printer needs something called a fuser. There is a link to maintenance packs including the fuser or just the fuser alone.

A 50 error in an HP is your fusing assembly. It needs to be replaced. difficulty depends on the model printer you have.

50 service flashing on display screen

If the display panel reads 50 FUSER ERROR, CYCLE POWER, turn the printer off for 15 minutes. This allows the capacitor that is responsible for signaling this error to discharge. If you don't wait 15 minutes you will continue to get this error even if you have replaced the fuser. If it continues to show the error, then you need to replace the fuser. It is easy to replace.
The fuser maintenance kit is about $119. on the web.
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe

Hello

A 50 Service error is a fuser error. Turn the printer off for at least 10 minutes, then turn it back on. If the error is still there, you can try reseating the fuser, but be sure to let the fuser cool completely before touching it.
If you still have the 50 Service error after reseating the fuser, you might need a new fuser.
You can access the fuser by opening the rear door. It's located directly above the paper tray. There are two screws that hold it in place. Remove those two screws, and the fuser slides outs.
Hope this helps.
