    can you explain the term network password and what it relates to. Is it the ISP password to connect Router to ISP ? or is it the admin password to log in to router and change stuff ?
    Is it the Wi Fi network Encryption key ?

Are you trying to connect to the wireless network?
Or you are trying to open router setup page?
Please explain in details.

If you forgot the wireless password then it can be found on router setup page. You need to open the router setup page and find the wireless network password.

If you are not sure about router password then you need to reset the router and reconfigure it.

Won't accept password

Which password? Are you trying to connect to the wireless network. Make sure that you have the correct network password. Open the setup page of the wireless router and check the wireless network key WEP WPA.
If you are trying to open the setup page of the router then try default password admin.

When you configured the "wireless" networking setup in your router, you set:
* the SSID (the name of your network)
* the encryption-level (hopefully, you used 'WPA', not 'WEP')
* the password for your network.

Return to that "setup" screen, to see the password that you entered.
