Belkin (F5U237) 7-Port USB Hub Questions & Answers
Belkin 7 port hub will not work with imac & leopard
Try any other power outlet source on the wall. Are you using the same adaptor to power up the new usb hub?
try the adaptor that came with the new usb hub. Most likely its the power source either the adaptor of the hub or usb hub or the wall power supply. Its strange that the new one is doing the same thing?
Let me know!

Does the F5U237 work with windows 10
Yes it will but you may need to make sure that you have the latest driver installed for it to work its best. If Windows 10 doesn't automatically install the latest driver, it can be obtained from www.belkin.com

I just had the same problem and was able to figure our a permanent fix.Judging by the date of you post, I'm guessing you've already remedied this problem one way or another. But just in case you haven't or someone else is having the same problem, I'll go ahead and post what to do. First, make sure you leave the USB hub plugged in right now so that Device Manager lists what it thinks is the Bluetooth device. Go into Control Manager > Hardware & Sound > Device Manager. Right click on Bluetooth device that is showing up in error. From the dropdown box, select Properties. Click the Driver Tab. Click Uninstall. Check "Delete the driver software for this device." Click OK. Unplug your USB hub for a few seconds, then plug it back in. Windows should now recognize it as a "Generic USB hub." You should be good to go. Just remember not to install that update again or try to update the driver for the Generic USB hub. If you do, you'll end up with the same problem. I hope this helps someone out there.
Does the F5U237 work with windows 8.1
It looks like Belkin stop support on certain models of Belkin, even thou you don't state the version model. But if you have a chance, visit this microsoft website which explain that it's not compatible with Windows 8.1

I have an Belkin (F5U237) 7-Port USB Hub that is
if Win7-64 is installing this hub as a "Broadcom Bluetooth Device" or some such nonsense, heres a fix that has FINALLY worked for me...
START > CONTROL PANEL > HARDWARE AND SOUND > Device Manager.
Plug in your hub, and when it pops up under bluetooth radios with an error, right click, then select properties.
Under properties, select the DRIVER tab, then select UPDATE DRIVER.
It should prompt you to choose between "Search Automatically..." or "Browse my computer..."
Choose "Browse my computer for driver software."
It should bring up a location box to search, but there should be an option below the box that says "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer."
Select this option.
This will bring up a list of drivers available.
UNCHECK the "Show compatible hardware" box!!!!!!!
Then browse until you see (Generic USB Hub). Select the first driver on this list and it will work.
The windows generic driver file that works with my hub is in:
C:\Windows\system32\drivers\usbhub.sys
If the above solution doesn't work, you can try to navigate to this specific driver file during a manual installation. Good luck.

Rimshot64, you did help someone out here. Two years later, even. And you succeeded where Microsoft "Help," per its tradition, failed. Thank you -- I got my scanner and printer, etc., back, and wasted only half a day uninstalling Microsoft updates (their suggestion).
Usb drive not recognised
First of all THe Belkin F5u237 is not a USB Drive. It is a USB Hub. If your running Windows XP it should see any device connected to the hub. If it dosen't see anything connected you may need to add the power supply to the hub.
