I have locked my self out of my tablet how can I reset and use new password

sorry but it has to be wiped and reset
hold power and volume down button until android menu appears
choose wipe cache wait to complete
choose factory reset
and reboot
restore from google or third party backup

Try turning it off, then restart holding power and volume button down. If that doesn't work, try power and volume button down. You should get a menue.

You have to reset your tab its at the back of your tablet .or you may go nearest service provider to unlock it.if is not working go to unlock account enter your user name then choose pattern enter your new pattern and then enter it again for confirmation..or u shut down the device then hold the power button hold again the volume up and the power button together.you see the recovery mode scroll down the with volume down button press the factory settings using the power button..then press the power button again to reboot make sure your battery is fully charge.

Without having a make and model for your tablet, it is hard to determine what exactly to do because each make and model is different. You talk about pressing the power and low volume buttons- are you holding them both in simultaneously for 10 seconds? This might be the reset procedure for your tablet, but that is not clear. One last thing to try is to hold in the power button for 10 seconds and see if you get a power off screen. If you get this, try powering off the tablet and then restarting. Also make sure the keyboard isn't on caps lock when you type your password.

Not possible to recover your password just factory reset back to when new! Press power for 30 seconds then press power and volume+ buttons together until reset screen comes on then move to factory reset option using volume buttons and select using power button!

You do not say what type of password was set and if you have forgotten it or just want to reset from a known password..
If you just want to change your gmail login password
- Go to google.com/accounts on the tablet browser
- Sign in
- "Change Password"
- Go back to the Home Screen on the tablet
- Open the GMail app, clicked on Menu, then Refresh -- you will get a sync error
- Wait for a notification to re-enter your password (a triangle with an exclamation point in the tablet notificaiton bar and/or something in the gmail screen)
- Enter the new password

This simple solution sometimes works:
Turn it off.
Turn back on.
When you get the warning triangle in the notification bar, open the notification.
You will then get a login screen.
Input your new password.

Pattern Lock- Incorrectly enter pattern 5 times (4 or more points each time) . Pop up message will appear Click Next and you will be prompted for goole a/c details or security for pattern lock.
tap forgotten pattern and on next screen enter goole account details. Then next screen allows you to choose a new screen lock option.

The only other solution is a hard reset which is only as a last resort. You need to access Androids Recovery mode. Check your manual. Most devices it is power off then power up holding volume + and power buttons.
Once in this mode use power down button to highlight "wipedata/factory reset option, then use power button to select it.
Vol - button to to scroll and select yes delete all user data option with power button. When device reset select option to reboot now and the device will turn on unlocked but you will have lost your personal data.

Face unlock - you were asked to provide a pattern or PIN backup when you set it. Just bypass and enter PIN or pattern.

so far i have not found any usb drivers for this device so looks like you will have to flip it over on the back side their is a reset button use a pin or paper clip to hold it down should reset it and do the trick, in the meantime i am also looking for usb drivers for the device so that I can gain root access to it.

Steps on how to reset the Proscan PLT7044K 7" android tablet.

1. Hold down the power and volume up buttons at the same time until you see the android logo then release both buttons.

2.Hold down power button then push the volume up button once for the reset menu to appear.

3.Use the volume down to select the factory reset to reset all data.

4.Reboot the device after reset has completed.

hang in logo..pattern lock..
all you need is SD card..512 and up..
format SD card in FAT 32

inset the SD card and power on your tablet
PUSH the reset button beside the usb
you will not see it flashing..
wait till astro boy or android boy pop up...
then erase the file at put this file again in SD card

PUSH the reset button beside the usb
you will see Korean character
do not touch anything..just wait for 5 minutes then it will reboot once more.
done.........your tab is working again.....
