Lap to left on. Is now timed out. how to resolve
Dear Harry,
The top-left area in your TouchPad, where there is a small hole with an indicator light is also an on-off touch switch that turns the TouchPad on and off.
So, press and hold this area for two seconds to turn the TouchPad on or off.
You can see it better in the picture below, extracted from the laptop manual that can be downloaded from the link at the bottom of this message:

Simply tap twice on the orange light and your pad will be working again,
this is basically a lock like the HP had in earlier which was made enable/disable by Fn+F7 key,
As a new advancement its a lock and also indicator, when you see orange light it means that touchpad is locked, for unlocking simply tap twice on the orange light on touchpad, and it will start working again

Based on the User Guide : Turning the TouchPad on and off The TouchPad is turned on at the factory. When the TouchPad zone is active, the light is off.
To turn the TouchPad on and off, quickly double-tap the TouchPad off indicator.
the indicator is on the top left side of TouchPad zone.
