SOURCE: battery and or charger

Hi you have mentioned

"Sometimes if I jiggle the AC adapter connection to the laptop when the battery icon starts flashing I can get it to continue working."

Looks like you have a lose jack on your notebook or the adapter itself....try to shake the connections when fitted to the notebook and check weather its the adapter or the note book jack....

If you dont have experience opening your notebook and soldering or soldering your adaptor end i suggest you take it to repair center

keep me posted

Cheers!

Try dusting the connector pins on your laptop and connecting the battery back.

SOURCE: laptop keeps shuting down at random.

This could be caused by MANY different things. If it is a random thing, where do you have your laptop when it happens? If it isn't on a flat smooth surface, it's probably a heat related issue. Laptops need a lot of air circulaton, through the bottom.

It is a sign that your battery is failing. Try to remove the battery then put it back. After that, try to check if you still experience the same thing. If so, then you need a new battery replacement.

Batteries usually start to degrade after a year or after 500 charges, whichever comes first.

SOURCE: hi i have a samsung r519 and i carnt figure out

check originality of the P.S.U.--check it is the correct item running at the stated values.Check the polarity of your connection, this is printed on the side of some units its like a small ball surrounded by a "C" check you dont have one of those universal P.S.U's which have connectors that have to be correctly connected --look for a small "arrow" on the side of the connection denoting correctly plugged in.

Where can I find a User manual for Currie electro drive scooter? Someone cleaned out their garage and gave it to me. I get a red flashing light when I plug it in.need more info.

I did not notice code list but here is a manual, hope it helps.
Plug the battery charger into a wall outlet, then into the charger port on the side of the scooter. The indicator light on the face of the charger will turn red, showing that charging has started. When charging is complete, the indicator light will turn green. A full charge will take 6-8 hours, however if the battery is not empty charging may take much less time. Always unplug the charger after use. Always store the scooter with the power switched turned OFF

Charging your power chair or scooter the correct way can make them last

Whenever you need to charge your power chair or scooter get into the habit of charging overnight. The battery level indicator lights will tell you if your chair or scooter needs charging. Whenever the lights are down into the yellow and especially if they are in the red. If you have the off-board charger, plug the charger into the charger port in the front of your joystick and then plug the charger into the wall socket or turn the on/off switch on and let it charge overnight. When you get up in the morning the charger should have a red light(power) and a green light illuminated (indicating fully charged) Always turn the charger off or unplug it from the wall socket before you unplug it from the chair or scooter. Never have the power on to the charger when you plug or unplug it from your chair or scooter. Whenever you get new batteries always give your batteries a full charge before use and then if you use the chair daily charge it every night. If you do not use your chair or scooter daily charge it at least once a week. Never leave the charger plugged in and on for more than 24 hours. Your batteries should last you 3-4 years if you charge them correctly.

Laptop turns off intantly, when I unplug the charging cord

For those of you having the problem of a HP laptop shutting off when you unplug the charger and your battery is fully charged, I can help you. There is nothing wrong with the laptop, battery, or computer, it is a power management setting. If you go to display properties, select the screen saver tab, then click the "power" button, in the power schemes field is a drop down window, click on it and select "Rixane Power Scheme", it is a power switching utility that quickly switches between AC and Battery when the power cable/charger is plugged in or unplugged while the laptop is on. If you have it set to "always on" it will shut off when you pull the power cord, even if the battery is charged. This will also happen on many non-HP laptops, if you don't have a HP laptop or there is not a "Rixane" option available, select the "Portable/Laptop" power scheme. Hope this helps!
