The Issue

The problem usually presents itself like this: you boot up your tablet and the tablet reaches the Android logo and hangs there and never moves. I purchased my tablet from a pawn shop yesterday and don't know how to hard reset it due to there being a lock pattern on it and don't know the g mail account associated with it

1) Power down your tablet.
2) Tap the power-on button and volume down button at the same time
3) Tap and hold the power-on and volume down buttons until you see the android alien icon
4) tap the power-on and volume up again at the same time until you see the System recovery menu.

reboot system now
apply update from /sdcard
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition
recovery system from backup
update rk image from /sdcard

select (wipe data/factory reset) bush pushing the power button to select it and restart the device after.

Sd card

The SD card is not counted as RAM Memory.
RAM memory is included inside the tablet and is not upgradable.

The ram in your tablet is RAM DDR3 512MB.

Restart a tablet when it is locked

  • Connect the tablet with USB cable to the PC
  • Open the command prompt
  • Change directory to the android SDK platform tools (Type in cmd--> cd C:\Program Files\Android\android-sdk\platform-tools)

Type following commands in cmd
  • adb devices (verify device is identified by pc. If not reconnect device and try again)
  • adb shell
  • adb reboot

It will restart.
