Gas oven alarming and flashing F8

My magic chef gas oven keeps alarming and flashes F8. Tried to stop it , but only thing that does is the off button. when I turn it on again, it does it again when it reaches certain temps.

The F8 failure code description is an Analog / Digital problem. To resove this error code, please replace touch pad or if touch pad is part of the clock, replace the clock (ERC).

Magic chef beeping

You need to replace the touchpad. I'm just getting ready to replace mine for the second time in 14 years. A bit pricey but not a hard repair to make.
An appliance repairman told me that it's possible to peel the old pad off and carefully fish the connecting wire out to the point where it plugs together. This would save removing the burners and the stovetop I'm going to give it a try when mine arrives

Magic Chef super capacity range.

oven takes to long to heat, broiler works fine, even the clock works it's just not heating fast....the bottom lights up,but not the top?
