1991 geo storm base 1.6 L has a pully making noise when engine starts its loosing coolant from somewhere and it bubbles over from overflow reserve when engine shuts off does that sound like a water pump problem ?
Http://www.autozone.com/autozone/repairinfo/repairguide/repairGuideContent.jsp?pageId=0900c15280048e7b Sounds like your water pump is leaking and not recirculating, here's a link on how to replace, you should also replace timing belt too.You can find the water part and price here also.
Sounds like a water pump
SOURCE: on a 1991 geo tracker trying to find location of fuel pump relay?
The fuel pump relays are mounted on an "L" bracket underneath the ECM. Both have something to do with the Fuel pump. Be careful not to get it confused with the horn relay it is in the same vicinity (under the dash on the drivers side).
SOURCE: Severe lack of power 1991 Geo Storm,
When you say "fixed", do you mean that you put the new belt on it?
If so, you probably missed a tooth in the belt placement. This usually happens when you wrap the wrong way during the procedure and the marks don't end up lining up.
Also check for other things like pinched wires or something disconnected that didn't get put back in the right spot. (vacuum lines?)
SOURCE: 1991 Geo Storm Cranks But wont start
There are a lot of reasons why an engine might not start.
Basic first step diagnostics: Check for spark, check for gas then
figure out (usually by tracing backwards) why you are not getting it
(spark/gas).
1. Does it have gas? (Check the gauge, listen for the fuel pump etc. check the fuel pump fuse.)
2. Is the engine mechanically sound? (Check compression, open the oil
cap or remove the distributor cap and see if the camshaft is going up
and down etc.)
3. Check the engine service light. If it is on find out what the computer thinks is wrong and fix it.
4. Check to see if the ignition system is working. BTW don't just pull
a spark plug wire. This can wreck the electronics. I would pull a spark
plug and make sure it is properly grounded before checking for spark.
