finally got the problem solved, there was a short in the wiring next to the computer, had the short fixed and the transmission is working fine now

First of all have you done obd2 scan test for codes?

If cleaning didn't help,then replacing is the way to go.You can go to a local stereo shop and see if they can fix it easily.they might know the trick on doing it.It's worth a try.Don't go to Best buy.I know you have seen one as you were driving around town,just pull in and see what's up,They may have fixed one as the same as your Nissan.

Does it start back up? If so do this, buy a can of engine throttle body cleaner (made by CRC products) and clean the throttle bore and blade, also clean the idle speed control air bypass valve mounted to the throttle body.
