Geo Cars & Trucks - Recent Questions, Troubleshooting & Support

Flickering displays are a sign of a failing backlight for the LCD. If device is still under warranty, contact for RMA (return merchandise authorization). If not, then the GPS is a bit dated and would be best to replace with a newer model with updated maps and Glonass satellite support. Repair not under warranty would not be cost effective

Old fashioned way is to pull plug wire and listen for the miss. You'll have rough or slower idle. Be well insulated and not grounded or you may feel the shock. There is also a cheap tool you can buy for 5 ish dollars. It will connect to spark plug and end of spark plug wire. Basically you pull the wire off the plug and put this tester between the wire and plug. Start the vehicle then look for spark on you new spark testing tool

which engine???? 3 ISUZU engine there.

in USA? all cars vary by COUNTRY for LAWS.
but ill pretend this is USA
open hood. look up, see that USA fed, vacuum sticker>?
and same sticker tells you what engines is there.
we can not guess any of this, country or engine.

this will cover all vacuum but the optional 3speed, a/T vacuum line.
or the vacuum brake booster, huge hose. (hard to loose that)
the FSM covers all hoses.
but that depends on what you have.
log in,
read, and it will ask you for the same thing.

as you see cars look same but are not.
bodies, tell little.
random guess.
usa, SOHC , EFI system. 1.6L
fsm of just one example.

Spray some throttle cleaner into the throttle to clean it out. It will also clean the IAC valve. See if that will help you. You may need to have a scanner hooked up to see what is happening to the fuel system.
