Electrical, check fuses for turn signals, check light bulbs but if you think it is the turn signal switch or arm you need to take the 2 or 3 screws that hold the cover for the steering column then you can get to the arm it should have either a clip or a screw that holds it in place it should pop right off

Ford taurus hazard lights and turn signals not working

remove bottom screws under the steering wheel remove bottom cover and then the top cover where the turn signal arm sticks out . then remove the connector attached to the multi function switch at the turn signal arm. spray real good with circit cleaner . then put connector back on. should then ,if not replace the turn signal arm which has the multi function switch attached .about 50 dollars on a 96 taurus at auto zone.

Ford taurus hood hydraulics not working so have to hold hood up. how can i fix

non working hydraulics are very common especially in ford vehicles, in order to fix the problem you have to go to ur local auto parts store and have them look up the vehicle that you own and find the right part numbers for the hydraulic arms. It is a very simply process and takes no time to change out. Good luck with it.

I have a 2004 ford taurus and my turnsignals dont work anymore. In the morning they will work a couple times but after that they dont work i checked all the fuses but someone told me i may need to change...

the multifunction switch is a common problem on fords. the switch controls the wipers, turn signals, high beams and hazards, and sometimes only 1 part of it will fail. in your case it sounds like 2 parts fail at the same time.

96 Ford Taurus no turn signals or hazards

Take the turn signal lever and jiggle it, a lot. If they start working, the switch is bad. You can also turn on the hazards and take hold of the button and push it left , right , forward and back and see if they start working. If so, replace the turn signal/ hazard switch.
