ZenV Freezes
Have you tried updating the firmware of your Zen V Plus? I've had mine for almost an year and haven't had these issues -- I updated the firmware as soon as I unpacked it.
try downloading the MP3 player recovery tool from Creative's website (the tool contains the latest firmware update available -- 1.15.03). Plug your ZV+ into your PC, run the program and let it update the firmware. Then format, reload your music and try it.
By the way, before updating the firmware, let the battery have a full charge, ok?
Charging
As long as you have the USB 2.0 type cable, and the software loaded, you can charge the ZEN V on your computer. Be sure to load the software first. It will take several hours to charge fully the first time. While it is charging you can add music. When you see the plug icon in the upper right corner, it is fully charged. Be sure you are not adding music while you disconnect. Otherwise, just pull the plug and the ZEN should play for up to 12 hours.
I accidently dropped my mp3 player in the bath, it is now dead, doing nothing, can it be revived? Many thanks.
Hi santhosam123Chances are its toast, but it is worth a try...sometimes it works***************************************If you ever find that you have to deal with a wet device, don\'t just abandon it. Instead, try the following method to repair the water damage:DO NOT TURN IT ON!Take it apart as much as you can. Take out the battery, the memory card and whatever else can be easily disassembled. (Just make sure you can put it back together.)Store the parts in an air-tight container covered with either dry rice, silica gel packets or kitty litter. These will absorb the moisture from your electronics device, leaving it water-free.If no rice, gel packets or kitty litter are available, try using a vacuum to suck the water out.DO NOT blow-dry the parts, it will only force the water farther in and cause more damage. Please take time to rate me.Bud

Zen won't reset
Connect to a PC and check if this is detected, if not there is fault within the memory and if the reset does not work it will require attention from creative labs. If under warranty you will get replacement or free repair.
