On my Zen V Plus, I have an audio book that is

The unit only displays time allotments up to 59 minutes 59 seconds and then turns over. In other words, a file that's 1 hour and 6 minutes will show up as you have seen, 00:06:00 instead of 01:06:00.

The time on the bottom left is time played while the time on the bottom right is time remaining. Your unit will work fine once you get the hang of knowing how to look at the timers.

Sounds like you're listening to Podcast's.

Note 1: Now Playing - If you shut the unit down while it's playing your selection (it can be paused too), when you power back up, you can simply pick up where you left off by choosing "Now Playing" or just wait for the unit to automatically start the last file where it left off. Either way, it will start where you left off. This only works for the last mp3 you were listening to.

Note 2: Different File Time Reference - If you want to listen to another file other than the last one you listened to and you want to skip, say the intro and go directly to a specific area in the file, you will have had to remember a time reference from either time played or time remaining to get back there.

Note 3: Fast Forward/Rewind - As there's no bookmark feature on this player, the only thing you can do is to make a note of the time where you last left off of the mp3 and hold the stick/button to the right and fast forward to the general location. As you're scrolling to the general area, the longer you hold the stick/button, the fast forward progress will pick up speed to get you there quicker. Same holds true when going backwards.

Hope this helps.

It is frozen. i can

take a look and locate the reset button for it ...It has to be hidden in a hole ..and need to be pressed with a sharp object ..for a few seconds..(about 10 ) and be powered on when you do it ..
After that it will work ..if you do not have a reset button on this model you have to open it up and remove the battery ..and it will reset it ..
be sure that you remove all files and when you put them back check to be only supported files on it ..cause this is the main cause for freezing up..
here is a link with a video instructions about how to remove the battery ...

Connect your ZEN to your PC, and launch the ZEN software on your PC.

Click "synchronize", to "push" license-information from your ZEN library on your PC down to your ZEN device.

I want to delete ALL the memory on my ZEN V plus

This is definitely possible, you just need to follow these steps (step 1 assumes its plugged into a PC) Please click the YES button at the bottom of the page here to indicate this answer was helpful, it is extremely important to me that you do so and will be a huge help to me.

/To format zen = 1.Detach the player from the PC and power the unit off.
2.Slide the Power switch towards the power icon and hold the switch.
3.Push the end of a pin-like object (for example, a straightened paper clip) into the reset hole, press gently and remove.
4.Release the Power button when the Recovery Mode appears.
5.Select Format (All) and select Yes to format the player.
6.After the player has finished formatting, select Reboot.
7.Now your Zen will be wiped clear.

My creative zen v plus

I have some bad news for you on this unit... it has actually completely failed :(. The mainboard of the zen has given out, probably just a single component on it but that's all it takes to take down the whole device. If you happened to buy it with a major credit card (not debit card) within the last 5 years I would check with the credit card company to see if they do extended warranties on electronics (many of them do, for example American Express does on all cards). If they do you could just file a claim with them and get a full refund for the device. Otherwise if it's more than a year old you are kind of out of luck on this unit. Your best bet is to just sell it on ebay listing it "AS IS" so someone can buy it for parts.

Thanks, so sorry for the grim news,
Tim

My video does not work

Check the specification of your MP3 player to determine the type of video file format it uses. The video files will need to be converted to a file format that can play on your MP3 player.

My creative zen v plus is not detected by my pc when connected its screen has reddish lines

Using the instructions below try Cleanup first, if that doesn't work... (if you have a backup of all your music on your computer), try the format option

This is from Creative's website:
Zen V Plus and Zen V
  1. Detach your player from the PC if it is connected, and turn off the player.
If the player stops responding, you can reset the player. To reset the player, gently
insert a thin object into the Reset hole located below the power switch.
2. Press and hold the Play button while powering on your player.
3. When the player displays the Creative logo, release the Play button.

It will display the following options:
Clean Up
Scans the player and removes invalid links from its music library.
Does not affect music files themselves.
Format (All) Caution! Erases all content!
Save a copy of your player's content before formatting.
Reload OS/ Firmware Caution! Erases your player's firmware.
DO NOT select the Reload Firmware option unless you have access to a PC and you have downloaded the necessary firmware to install.
Reboot Reboots the device.

How to charge my creative zen mp3 player

Just connect your Zen onto your PC (NOT LAP TOP) on a USB.
If does not start charging (you´ll see arrow and pause/ play buttons flashing slowly) then you need to RESET your ZEN.
How to reset: You´ll find a tiny little hole by on/off button on the side. With ZEN connected to the PC USB or onto wall charger try turning ZEN on, it doesen´t matter if it turns on or not. Then insert a sowing pin or office paper clip end in this reset hole for a few seconds and release. Give it a couple of seconds and see the lights go off onto charging mode. LEAVE IT CHARGING for 24 hours. Make sure your PC will NOT turn itself on safe mode or hibernates in this period, it has to be ON for charging, at all times.
This is it.

My ipod is facing with Rebuilding library

When you dried it off with a drier did you have the unit completely appart at the time? It sounds like you might not have dried off all the water. If you don't get all the water out it will stay there for a long time causing problems, and after that you'll end up with corrosion at which point the unit becomes virtually garbage. Also, one other thing to remember is the danger of too much heat. If you applied too much heat with the drier it could have damaged the electronics. At this point I would take the unit appart and blow it out with some pressurised air, then stick a new battery in and do a hardware reset if it allows for it in the software menu. It might even have a tiny reset hole on the outside.
