Two issues here... and your printer is probably ok:
The teardrop is an inkdrop, meaning that there is a problem with an ink cartridge or out of ink. It is probably not related to the paper jams, but the cartridge may have been dislodged by a huge paper jam.
If you are sure the paper jams are clear and the cartridges have been re-seated, then turn OFF and unplug your printer power for ten minutes to reset it.

With a flashlight, look into the throat of the paper feed mechanism. Remove any foreign material. Also, look at the edge of the paper you're trying to get it to accept. If the edge is uneven or the paper is the wrong thickness, problems arise. Located at the far left side of the paper outfeed slot, there is a lever to select between cut paper and envelopes. Position this lever to correspond to the paper you're trying to insert

Follow the instructions for replacing ink cartridges in your printer. Printers are designed to accept only cartridges made specifically for that printer. Disconnect the electric power to the printer for one minute.
With the new cartridge in the printer, reconnect the power (or turn it back on) It should work properly, then.

Go to the website of the printer manufacturer. Click on DRIVER DOWNLOADS. Download the correct driver for the printer you want to install. Save the driver on your computer's desktop. In the Windows® control panel, click on the install drivers icon. Drag the downloaded driver into the HAVE DISK data field. Follow the instructions for installing a driver in Windows®.

Uninstall and reinstall the scanner driver software for your printer (preferably with the latest version downloaded from the website of the printer maker) Disconnect the power to the scanner and plug it back in. If your computer is running Windows®, unplug the printer cable and plug it back in. Next, restart your computer.

I didn't want to wait. Instead I simply scanned toe document I wanted to copy, inserted it into a Word® file. Printing this file gave me the copy I wanted.

seems your tonner is empty

it need a refil or replacment go ahead for refil or replacement of tonner and it will resolve your issue

your printer's cartridge is not fixed correctly and top cover may not closed correctly.
