I was in a car accident last night. A car backed into the front of me. My car would start right after but it stalls out. Now it will not start at all. I am not sure what to do to get it to start. Where are the relays located?

There is a fuel shutoff switch. They are put in one of two locations. First is in the trunk, it will be marked. The other is behind the passengers side kick panel on the right, sometimes there is a hole in the panel to put your finger in and push the reset button.. If not then the panel just pops off. The switch is black, about 2 x 3 inches And the button is red.

2004 Chevy S10 4x4 stalling at idle. Drove 3 hours last night, no prob, but this morning this. RPMs 200-800, oil pressure gauge flutters, lights dim with the idle, then stalls. Starts right back up.

can be a multiple of reasons -will start with check for fuel pressure -possible fuel pump/fuel filter ---in need of a tune up ---egr valve --cat converter--battery - these components sometimes dont set off a check engine code but if you did or do have a code have it scanned most auto stores offer this service for free

If "VOLT" or battery symbol is lit when engine is running, the alternator is not charging the battery. Replace alternator.

94 subaru legacy wagon stalls when engine is warm then starts when cool

Have the battery and alt tested for free at the local parts store.
Tell them what it's doing, and start suspecting a fuel issue.
Could be getting the right amount of fuel but not burning it. (plugs, wires, coil)
Or could not be getting enough fuel.

Still hard to say, so get the charging/power system checked first.
Let me know what you find out as I'm real curious now.

Same happened to a friend and it was the fuel pump....
Same for another friend and it was 2 bad coil packs.

When engine has been setting for a while or over night ,car will not start right away, i turn the ignition to the on position ,then i would hear a noise from the front dash or the fire wall in front of the...

it could be a bad fuel pressure regulator. or a blocked fuel filter. heres the regulator symtoms. the vehicle runs rough, the engine will not start ( usually in the morning )many times engine starts but stalls shortly after starting. a bad regulator can result in fowled spark plugs, replacement is only cure. ( black soot on plugs, blake smoke from tail pipe, running rough and stalling. check fuel filter first.

Car stalling out and bot starting after being driven for awhile.

mcdevito75 Here, It"s possible the ignition Module is going bad, no way to test and if so, one day the car will not start at all.----------It can also be a vapor loc, wher the fuel is evaporating before it reaches the cylinders. Best Bet, have your local shop check both these items.
