On my 90 and 92, I have a vacuum line from the driver side intake manifold at about inline with the # cylinder. It travels to the firewall between engine and firewall to a connection underneath the battery.That line goes through the firewall and connects to other lines roughly above your feet if you are sitting in the passenger side of the car.

1994 jaguar xjs 4.0. cylinders 3 and 4 have spark but are not working. If i pull the plug wire on these cylinders with engine running , there is no change.

hate to tell you this but it sounds like a bad or cracked coil.
take a look and see,sometimes the cracks are internal check for spark at the coil array if no spark from there theres your problem.High heat causes these type of coil systems to fail.
if you need a new one try "autopartswharehouse.com" or parts geek.com they have hard to find import parts at really good prices.good luck,Gary

next to the tank at the top of the body under neath. or on the updated version engine bay follow the fuel line and it goes into a contaner with 2 pipes on it that is the filter.

remove covers in boot behind seat there are mounting brackest there hopfully not rusted take off bolts remove brackets remove filler pipe but getting it out is a carry on as its a tight fit may need to remove back seat as well
