Thje battery is still being drained by the computers on board.Try buying a trickle charger when you are not using the battery.My wifes Toyota sypder which I just sold was a 2000 model with 14,000 miles.Again 14,000 miles.I went thru a few batteries till I bought a trickle charger.

the speedometer cable could be broke, you can check this, you will have to get under the van, look at the transmission, there will be a cable that screws on. unscrew the cap that holds the cable to the transmission when you pull it off you can try to turn the inter part of the cable it should turn freely, then pull on it, if it comes out its broke. you can buy one at any auto parts store.
