Side mirror wont stop moving on its own - 1992 Ford Crown Victoria

Check your fuses and relays, did they all stop working at the same time, any recent work done, accidents, etc.

Probably the switch I have seen many stop working and maybe one mirror stop out of hundreds

On some autos the switch that moves the mirrors needs to be set in the center section vs right or left. On some if its if its to the drivers side and you have it in reverse the mirrors will tilt down.

YOU HAVE A BAD MIRROR ASSEMBLY THE PLASTIC IS STRIPPED INSIDE THE MIRROR.

Have to replace the entire electric mirror
& it won't be inexpensive

Seems like a module issue, but it is the actually the
mirror, as other features hold where you program them

For mirrors you need to move the switch to the side you want

first check the fuses. if its good then the switch may be bad if both mirrors wont move. hope this helps

Make sure your mirror control switch is slid to the right. If the switch is in the left mirror position, it keeps the right mirror in the upward position when in reverse. When the switch is in right mirror position, it moves the right mirror in the downward position when in reverse. Hope this helps.
