Car will not start starter checked out good what else can I check

The battery. Now if the car does not even crank and the starter is good, then I would recommend checking some fuses and relays. Some fuses to check would be the ignition, start, etc. For relays I would check the starter relay and the neutral start relay. I would also check neutral park switch on the transmission. If the switch isnt working properly then the car wont start at all.

HAVE A 2001 FIREBIRD THAT WILL NOT CHARGE. REPLACED BATTERY AND ALTENATOR AND STILL WILL NOT CHARGE.COULD IT BE FUSIBLE LINKS, FUSES,ETC?

There is a Alternater fuse/relay that is located in the engine bay -check if that is shot.If it burns up again there could be a short somewhere.Trace the wiring.

1988 Trans Am will not start...ignition switch gets hot when trying to start the car. Headlights do come on but no other lights do

sounds like a serious electrical problem. If the ignition switch gets hot when starting the car, it points to a shorted wire or bad relay somewhere that controls the starter (maybe a shorted solenoid).

If no other lights go on other than the headlamps, check the fuses and relays for that as well.

Starter on my 2000 pontiac firebird went out , we rebuilt the starter checked the starter fuses, and also the starter wires what else can the reason be for my car not starting

The neutral safety switch, and the ignition switch can cause this problem, get a test light and start testing these areas, but start at the ignition wire on the starter to see if the stater is receiving 12 volts on it.Then the neutral safety switch, and then the ignition switch.

2001 Ford Explorer Sport wont start

Even though I bought the vehicle new, there was an aftermarket security system installed. The system had a bad diode, so i removed the system and reconnected the factory wires.

Won't start. Battery has full charge and fuses good

You have a switch onthe side of your trans..that lets your ecm know when you are in P or N., Or possible starter.
