Several things. Take the car to Autozone or Oreillys for a free scan. Before you go, check the starter and starter cables under the car. Have them check starter draw. Have them check the battery and alternator.

It sounds like the alternator is not quite filtering out the electric pulses it creates when working. The starter can ground out but usually not after you are moving.

If the gauges do not indicate anything, do a wiggle test to see if you can find the short.

My 2011 Toyota camry's security light is on and my car won't start

Try checking the basics first. Are there any other warning lights on the Dashboard? Does the Central Locking work correctly? Central locking issues can suggest a dying battery in the key fob.
This could be a low battery. Starter motors use a huge amount of voltage to turn the engine, (9 volts from the 12 volts in the battery), so the dash display going off suggest not enough power in the battery. Batteries are usually past there best once they are over 5 years old so consider buying a new one. Do you have a friend who knows how to use a set of jump leads correctly? Try connecting their car, to yours and try to start your car as normal. If it trys to start or actually starts it is probably a battery issue.
Are you getting anything at all when you turn the key? A click? A rattle? A 'Clunk'?

2008 Suzuki Grand Vitara died while driving and will not start

Sounds like you might have broken the timing belt and now have a piston hitting a valve.

Turns over then cuts off

Clunking noise sounds like a piston to crankshaft problem. You can do a compression test to determine the bad cylinder.

My car isn't starting it will turn over.. but it won't start..and now it won't let me get the key out of the ignigtion

MAke sure the car is in park before you try to take the key out and if that is not the problem try to move it back and forth a bit. Do the same thing to do steering wheel too then wiggle the keys again if they still havent come out. Usually it's just a small misallignment. And a big problem when you're car won't start is that the alternator is dead which drains your battery. If you bought a battery within the last 4 years it shouldn't die. A lot of people make the mistake of changing the battery then it dies again within a year.

Clunk-clunk? Sounds like the flywheel broke. Maybe (if it's an automatic) the torque convertor came unbolted from the flywheel. I hope that I could help you. Best wishes.
