You may need some power steering fluid or it could be a computer fault. the clicking was a low battery not being able to turn the starter motor but it should not effect your steerin. try some fluid first if that doesn't work take it to a garage. it could be something simple like a loose wire.

My car wont start. When I turn the key it makes a clicking noise. The lights all work, but when I turn the key they go dim. Tried jump starting the car last night and it still won't start.

check the battery cables. depending on how old the cables are they may need changing. a good place to find replacements are local scrap yards. many sell auto parts. also if the cables are loose a good connection between the jump starter and battery will not be present. if neither of these are wrong you may need to replace the starter itself.

2 nights ago my battery died. I got a jump by a friend and drove it to a destination then parked it. Leaving the car I noticed my tail lights stayed on which meant a bulb was dead I assume so I unplugged...

It could be your starter if you hear a sound when you try to start your car like a clicking noise or not a noise at all. Also it it tries to turn over, but doesn't it's your alternator. Hope this helps!?

The car drives fine but when i turn if off and try to start it it will sometimes not start, some say starter because it has never died while i was driving it and takes a jump start everytime , but i am not...

IF WHEN YOU TURN YOUR KEY TO START YOUR DASH LIGHTS DIM AND HEAR A CLICKIN NOISE YOUR BATTERY IS LOW,IF NOT THOUGH AND THEY STAY BRIGHT AND NO CRANKING THE STARTER SOLENOID IS MALFUNCTIONING OR ITS ELECTRIC CONTACT IS CORRODED OR YOUR KEY SWITCH IS BAD.

Car takes a long time to start, won't go over 2000 RPM

could be a host of problems . but the most likely is the tps or throttle position sensor @ least that is where to start

2005 nissan altima won't start, clicking noise is heard

It sounds like your battery is dead. You may be able to fix this with a jump start if you left your lights on over night. If a good jump does not work it may be your starter. but you should start with the simple and cheap solution first. Try having someone jump start your car.
