Hi guys just wondering how to reset an SRS warning light? Changed drivers side pretensioner due to faulty wire and unsure if this has fixed the problem? I own a VZ 2007 crewman ute. Any advice on SRS light would be grateful and appreciated!
If the light is on it means you have a current fault and will need a repair if it was a temporary fault the light would go off and the fault would be stored in the computor, It needs plugging in to OBD computor most likely you have a faulty seat belt clip

since you said all the fuses are ok, then i will recommend u trace the wire properly and check if any of the wires or sockets are burnt or cut disconnected.. for the SRS light on the cluster, i recommend you run a scan, to know if you are to replace the airbag.
it wont be an overload, more likely a short, check saloon and boot light bulbs, boot light switch, door switches, looking for a broken switch or loose wire
More than likely you will need to remove the entire tail light assembly from the inside of the trunk. You should see some twist knobs under the trunk liner or exposed.
The communication with SRS CM (Supplemental Restraint System Control Module) is proprietary - Hyundai Dealership Scanner equipment. Best solution: Take the vehicle into a Hyundai Service Center (dealership), pay the diagnostic fee. They will tell you EXACTLY what the problem is and what's needed to fix it (parts, labor, tax, time-frame, etc.).
the srs light comes on once the bag explodes however after installng the bag you have to also instal the relay which triggers the air bag or the light stays on problem is not in the bcm
