Check the ground connection. It will be hidden behind the plastic cover. The hardest part of hr job will be getting the plastic covers off. You will find it no problem. It'll be s black wire with a round flat end being holy to the body with s sheet metal screw. Don't just look at it. Unscrew the little screw. it. The flat part of the wire end is going to be the culprit. it will be dirty. Clean it so its bright and shiny. Even the hole itbsbres into might be dirt or rusty or ? Dont worry. You can fix this . It'll be fun.

Use your meter to check for power at the clutch switch when the key is turned to start. If no power, the ignition switch or wire from the switch is bad. If the is power, the starter solenoid is bad. Do It Yourself Diagnosis and Repair

You need an annual service from any Mitsubishi specialist garage, does not have to be a main dealer......they will reset the service indicator once the service is completed!

There is no relationship between the air conditioning system and the gear box in the vehicle. The engine operates the aircon compressor via the serpentine belt from the crankshaft pulley and if the aircon is operating normally the aircom compressor will not be faulty either. If you are having problems with the gearbox it has nothing to do with the aircon system. The issue will be with the gearbox itself.

code p 0300 determines misfire causes as the following=== causes --engine mechanical fault ---wiring---ignition/ fuel system---injector ---ECT/MAF sensor--- ECM You have two areas to check one is the MAF sensor as it will cause erratic idling and second the injector or HT leads to a plug If you run the fault codes you will get a p 0301or 2 or3 or 4 code and that is the cylinder number that is misfiring--code p 0300 is random /multiple misfires and the causes are the same including low fuel pressure and low compression

Be careful that you have the right type of bulb in the socket some of them were supposed to be 2 elements inside of them and some of them are meant to have only one element typically to be sure a light socket that has more than two wires going into it will be a double element bulb. As long as the existing wiring has not been modified by somebody or is broken or shorted together then this is the only problem I I think you may be having

check and clean the intake and breather lines to it from engine, also check the fuel pump. also when was the last time the time belt was changed or checked ?

check you charging system, you must have bad or loose alternator wire
