My 2007 Chevy impala won't start I put on new starter changed battery cable ends and every time I turn it off it won't crank back up I have to take the cable wire off and put back on to crank it what's my problem please help

Someone probably forgot to finish the calibration with their scanner. If the car runs fine and everything works, I wouldn't worry too much. If the light is annoying, you will most likely have to pay someone to complete the job.

SOURCE: My 2006 chevy impala dash

This is the Compas reading, In your manual you will see what geographic zone you are in. follow the instructions. enter the zone drive in a circle and the compass will set itself correctly.

CALIBRATION COMPLETE
Refer to Electronic Compass Calibration do you have an owners manual ?
Compass Calibration
The compass direction will show CAL if it needs to be calibrated. Before calibrating the compass, drive the vehicle to an area that is magnetically clean (free of large metallic objects).
  1. Turn ON the ignition.
  2. Before calibrating the compass, make sure the compass is set to the variance zone in which the vehicle is travelling. See Compass Magnetic Variation Adjustment below.
  3. Press the vehicle information button until the PRESS TO CALIBRATE COMPASS screen is displayed.
  4. Press the set/reset button to start the compass calibration.
  5. The DIC will display CALIBRATING: DRIVE IN CIRCLES. Drive the vehicle in circles at less than 8 km/h (5 mph) to complete the calibration. The DIC will display CALIBRATION COMPLETE when the calibration is complete.

2007 Chevy Impala LT stock stereo
pop out the center trim piece with a flat head screwdriver. Center dash piece may be brushed aluminum or wood grain depending on trim level. It should pop out easily working all the way around it. Then radio is held in with 7mm screws.
