'07 Impala Wipers Work Intermittently

Did you check for voltage at the wiper fuse? My info says that fuse is hot all the time. Use a digital multimeter. Everything off, take a reading across battery posts, the generic spec for a full charge is around 12.6 volts. You should get close to same reading at the wiper fuse, hopefully. When checking voltage at the fuse, use chassis ground not the other leg of fuse. There are wiper relays, those are pcb relays, they are soldered into the fuse box, you can't pull them out. Your bcm is also involved with those relays. Your multifunction switch basically tells the bcm you turned on your wipers, then the bcm controls voltage or ground for the relays. You can see wire color for hi and lo speed voltage. Maybe a problem with fuse box or wiring circuit if voltage is low? I hope this was of some help? wiper-byjr2x1a1ejmcnbtj5cbblt2-1-0.jpg

2007 chevy impala codes coming up are 7e8 and 7ea. what do i look for

Seems to be a scanner component ID, not the OBD2 fault code. You need to learn to use the scanner and interpret the readings (usually the scanner manual contains the meanings to these codes) Otherwise you need to take the car to an independent service with Chevrolet specific scan tools or a Chevrolet dealer, for proper diagnostics.

I'm needing the wiring diagram for my 2007 Chevrolet Impala LT 3.5 tail lights.

Go to http://www.bbbind.com/free_tsb.html free wiring diagrams ! You having tail light problems ? Do you know how they work ? They are turned on by the BCM ! Park, Tail, Marker and License Lamps The park, tail, license, and marker lamps are turned ON when the headlamp switch is placed in either the HEAD or PARK lamp positions, or anytime the automatic light control (ALC) turns the headlamps ON. When the headlamp switch is placed in the park lamp or headlamp positions, ground from G202 is applied through the signal circuit to the BCM indicating the park lamp request. In response to this signal, the BCM applies ground through the park lamp relay control circuit energizing the PARK LP PCB Relay. With the relay energized, battery voltage is applied through the switch side of the relay, both park lamp fuses, and the supply voltage circuits illuminating the park, tail marker, and license lamps. Ground for the left front park and marker lamps is provided at G101 and the right front park and marker lamps at G100. Ground for all rear lamps is provided at G302. Turn Signal Lamps The LT T/SIG and RT T/SIG fuses located in the underhood fuse block supplies battery positive voltage to the body control module (BCM) for turn signal and hazard lamp operation. When the turn signal switch is place in either the LEFT or RIGHT position, ground from G202 is applied through the turn signal switch signal circuit to the BCM indicating the turn signal request. In response to this signal, the BCM applies a pulsating voltage to the front and rear turn signal lamps supply voltage circuits cycling the lamps ON and OFF. The BCM also sends a message via GMLAN to the instrument panel cluster (IPC) to cycle the turn signal indicator ON and OFF depending on the position of the turn signal switch. Ground for the turn signal lamps is supplied as follows: ?€¢ G101 provides ground for the left front turn signal lamp

?€¢ G100 provides ground for the right front turn signal lamp

?€¢ G302 provides ground for the left and right rear turn signal lamps

Remote door locks, remote trunk open button works.... Remote start DOES NOT work..... Could this be a fuse? What else might cause this failure?

Could be. There are inline fuses for the after market remote start under the dash. If the fuses are good, Remove the remote start system. It is dieing, Soon you won't be able to start the car with the key. Good systems last 5 to 7 years. Cheap systems might last 2 years. I have never put one in, but have removed several hundred.

Why doesn't my car heat up in idle

Had same problem. You need to add coolant to the engine not at the overfill container but at the engine itself. Do it while it is running. Not hot. It has been a problem with chev. V 6 engines.

Oil leak on 2007 chevy impala

Only a trusted local auto service shop or dealer can answer this for you because your vehicle would have to be up on a lift to actually see what's leaking in order to properly diagnose and repair. It may be as simple as changing the oil pan gasket or a cracked oil pan that would have to be either replaced or repaired depending on the size of the crack. There is also the remote chance that its actually something else that's leaking. Hope this helps.

Speedometer dash lights not working

Ouch, must be it doesn't like to get jumped. Wild guess, a "marginal" fuse couldn't take the jump. Check your fuse box for dash lighting. Other Dash lights ok? Any error codes? Possible the ECU (brain) didn't like the jump and now needs to be reset. Sometimes that can be done by disconnecting the battery overnight. Why did the car need a jump? I'd guess you have a "marginal" battery. Some Auto parts stores can help check your battery. And if bad replace.
