If the bumps were severe enough you might have tripped your fuel cut out inertia switch. This is designed to dis-engage the fuel pump in case of an accident. Your owners manual should point you in the location of the switch so as you can reset it. I am not familiar enough with the transit van to know the location myself, but you might try the passenger kick panel.

I hit a bump and my 1998 astro van quit running and the gas gauge went way past full and now the fuel pump doesnt run

the ground fell off of the fuel pump or the plug came loose. its between the tank and frame. pull the wires down until u see the connector. unplug clean and plug in. I would check the fuse and relay first. usually there is another relay that is the same as the fuel pump in fuse box. switch them and see if it works

1992 dodge caravan replaced fuel pump gas still not flowing properly

Did you change the fuel filter? changing pump stirs up sludge in tank, and a clogged filter puts stress on pump and can cause failure.

Where is the fuelpump fillter

some of these vans don't have a seviceable fuel filter. you can check with a local parts store to see if they list one. if they do then it is located above the fuel tank.

Where is the fuel pump located on 1994 ford e350 club wagon

Hello. They are located in the fuel tanks. I say tanks plural because it's a 350 Club. There is also a pressurized pump on the frame rail just to the inside of the frame, just about under the driver's seat, if it is equipped with dual tanks. It's a rare occasion that one cannot run the van without prior notice of a tank mounted pump going bad. I'd try the fuel interrupter switch located in the passenger's side kick panel before anything else. Push the button top to reset it and then try starting the van. If the vehicle has suffered a jolt, large pot hole, bump etc...
