My info said, you have to remove intake manifold site shield. The picture location I had was no good, no orientation.

It may not go away immediatly since it may have to go through a certain preset cycles to clear-the fastest way to determine if it is cleared is to remove the negative terminal from the battery, and wait 5 minutes before hooking it back up.
As a side note, I'm sure you checked your gas cap, right? It is often overlooked for a fuel system vapor leak..
TAKE THE BATTERY OFF THE ONE SIDE OF THE SELINOID POSTIVE ONE COMMING FROM THE BATTERY KEY ON AND TOUCH IT TOO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE SELINOID WHERE THE CABLE GOES DOWN TO THE STARTER IF THE STARTER ENGAGES WITHOUT THE SENOID SO JUST A COUPLE OF SECONDS DO THIS STATER ENGAGES SELINOID BAD IF THE STATER DON'T ENGAGE THE STARTER IS BAD
It is not a valve. It is the purg selinoid for the evaporator. It is a normal noise and will not cause any problems. I have the same issue on my 300C. They may have redesigned it on the 08 and newer to get rid of the ticking noise. Chrysler has had many complaints about this noisey selinoid
