I don't know how to remove the lock without damaging it
First with the L/F window lowered, remove the door trim. Before disconnecting window switch, raise the window all the way up . Now, look inside the door to where the lock cylinder is. You need to unclip the attached linkage to the lock cylinder. Remove "C" clip, ( careful you don't damage outer door panel ) securing cylinder to door and remove lock.
You will have to remove the lock from inside the door panel.
Open the door and the panel should be secured with a combination of push type locks which you basically have to pry apart and any screws you may find for door pulls, armrests etc. First, remove any screws that you think may be holding the panel on, then start at the outside bottom of your door and try to gently pull the panel off. You will find that its fixed in certain spots. Then take a wide blade regular screwdriver and pry next to the push pins and they should release with a little effort.
With the panel off you should notice a piece of plastic covering the door...remove this carefully as to not tear it for replacement... that plastic is what keeps the outside air from coming through your door. With plastic off you should be able to access your lock from the inside.
TIP: take your new lock and old key to a locksmith before installing. For a small fee, he can rekey the lock to work with your original key.
