Recently bought a used 04 Toyota Sequoia limited edition I’ve been having problems with the running lights staying on when the motor is turned off and also the door churn keeps going off with doors closed I put key in switch and it starts on it’s on . I’m having to remove battery cable every where I go to keep from having dead battery. Someone please help!!

Look for a dirty contact in the door jam. When the door closes, there are switches that sense the door is closed, usually at the front of the door jam. If they are the kind that need to complete an electrical connection, (our Ford Windstar was this type), the mating surfaces may need cleaned. Steel wool, and a light coat of WD40. Then the controller will sense the door is closed, thus fixing both issues.

I have a 2004 sequoia,

Sounds like you have a latch switch that is not making proper contact. You can try soaking the latch with contact cleaner and then when the solvent flashes off, lubricate with some white lithium. If this doesn't work you will need to change out the latch with either a used part or purchase a new one from the dealer.

What are the correct spark plugs for my 94 sequoia

You can use the platinum plugs, they will last about 60,000 miles while the iridium last about 100K miles, that's about the only difference.

Car engine seized while driving on highway

Only if he purposely drained all the oil out of it. Why don't you ask the shop what killed the engine? If it was out of oil, check for a leak.

Trunk lid on 2005 sequioa wont open. I can hear it

The trunk release handle is made out of plastic, there is a lever that contacts the release lever inside, the lever part on the handle breaks off. Use a flashlight and look inside the small square opening you will see the release lever which metal. use a screwdriver to push this lever down, the rear gate will pop open (be sure it's in the unlocked position) after the gate is open remove the inside paneling to get to the mounting nuts/bolts for the plastic handle. It's a good idea to get the new one first so you know what you're dealing with.

2004 Toyota Sequoia AC Light Blinking

when you fit a compressor . after vacuuming the system for about an hour, you connect the gas up to the suction port and let the gas in with the engine running and the ac switched on , when there is enough in the system the low pressure switch is turned on and the compressor starts to run sucking in more gas The system is charged according to pressure gauges and not by the number of cans now you are doing several things wrong 1-- there are 2 types of gas and if you used a wrong replacement unit , it will not handle the high pressures of the different gas 2-- if you used the no of cans method -- then liquid freon gets to the pistons in the compressor and hydraulic locks the system resulting in the destruction you describe 3--- did you put oil in the compressor before fitting it as the oil circulates with the gas and there was no oil i the replacement compressor , then the plate runs dry and seizes , again causing destruction the best method is to get an accredited ac professional to do the job or it will cost you more money

2004 Sequoia. VSC TRAC, TRAC OFF, and Check

It is not hard to change the sensor, it just screws into a threaded hole. The light will not go out immeditaly, after the sensor is replaced. It needs to go thru a drive cycle. Your best bet is to replace the sensor and get the code cleard by whoever scanned it for the 0031 code.

I believe the timing marks no longer line up after replacing my timing belt. How can I determine if correction is needed? How do I correct timing mark alignment?

there is a method but you will have to have an understanding of valve timing in an engine regardless of number of pistons when number 1 piston is TDC not firing, then the exhaust valve will be open and ready to close and the inlet valve will be closed and ready to open so bring the piston up and near tdc as you approach tdc you will see the exhaust start to close and at the same time the inlet valve will start to open if you rock the crank back and forward slightly at tdc you will see that the valves are rocking this is valve rock and indicates the cam is in time with the crank it is only necessary to do it with no 1 piston It doesn't matter how many cam shafts ( one cam shaft can be inlet valves only and the other can be exhaust valves only) there are, it is the exhaust and inlet valves for no 1 piston that you are looking at how do you get tdc-- remove a plug and with a piece of wire place the end on the piston crown and as the piston comes up the wire will be pushed out as you rock the piston the wire will move in and out and the point before movement is tdc probably as clear as mud unless you are engine savvy
