I have a 2006 Toyota RAV4 4wd with V4 engine. My radio, clock, dome lights, map lights, alarm system and automatic door locks have stopped working.

Hello. It seems your Toyota's main electrical relay is 'shorted out'. The electrical accessories you stated (normally functions) whether the ignition switch is on or off; doesn't matter. It's, more and likely a relay connected, directly, at the battery. Also, check the 'fusible link'; also on the (+) battery cable. Good luck and keep me informed; if you want to.

The drivers side airbag light comes and stays on my 2006 Toyota Rav4 until the car is warm. What's wrong?

you need to get in touch with toyota they had a recall on your vehicle due to airbag.THE STEERING COLUMN ASSEMBLY CONTAINS ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS TO THE DRIVER'S AIRBAG MODULE HOUSED IN A SPIRAL CABLE ASSEMBLY, WHICH INCLUDES A FLEXIBLE FLAT CABLE (FFC). DUE TO THE SHAPE AND LOCATION OF THE FFC'S RETAINER, THE FFC COULD BECOME DAMAGED WHEN THE STEERING WHEEL IS TURNED. Consequence: IF THE FFC IS DAMAGED, CONNECTIVITY TO THE DRIVER'S AIR BAG MODULE COULD BE LOST AND THE AIR BAG DEACTIVATED. THE FAILURE OF THE DRIVER'S AIR BAG TO DEPLOY IN THE EVENT OF A CRASH THAT TYPICALLY NECESSITATES DEPLOYMENT INCREASES THE RISK OF INJURY TO THE DRIVER.

How to check rav4 transmission oil

WORLD STANDARD AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID -- TC010-07 June 28, 2007

S 100,000 Maintenance Interval - Inspection only; ATF-WS does NOT require any

flushing or changing during the life of the vehicle.

S The use of Genuine Toyota ATF-WS is recommended.

S The use of additives or aftermarket fluids that are considered compatible

or substitutes may result in shift concerns and damage to the internal

transmission components.

S ATF-WS is NOT compatible with T-IV or Dexron ATF.

S Containers storing Toyota ATF-WS should always be sealed - If exposed to the

atmosphere, ATF-WS may absorb moisture and potentially cause shift concerns if

used in operation.

S One time use only.

S When performing repairs on ATF-WS equipped transaxles, it is important to use

only new, clean ATF--WS when refilling the ATM.

S ATF-WS equipped ATMs may use the overflow type procedure - Any fluid

drained from the overflow plug should be discarded following proper local

regulations and never reused. Failure to do so could result in shift concerns and

damage to the internal transmission components.

Knocking sound from front suspension when i steer???

Without knowing what type of car you’re referring to and by your description of what’s going on it sounds like the upper bearing plate on the front struts might be the issue.

2007 Toyota Rav4 key buttons worn out

Yeah... I've always managed to carry enough junk in my pockets to equip a small hardware store... I've achieved a small level of competence (not Toyota's FOBs) but a friend was awestruck by the (Infinity) dealers hideous prices... Went onto eBay and found the cases he needed... (did it himself (no programming required)). Following his lead... I have become a FORD/LINCOLN... Jaguar... and "Clifford" FOB CASE expert for the family... I have every confidence... you will find your CASE available... Keep a close eye on "NEW & USED" and always check your shipping costs... My latest quest is to crack open the BMW X5 (E70)... Just because mine looks like it was dragged down a gravel road on a logging chain... (got a good looking USED) ONE.... free shipping less than $10... Best double-sided PATS KEY "CUT" price to date = $6 Worst was $25 (and he ruined a good new $25 logo blank)... Still worlds ahead of the DEALER PRICES...!!! Have yet to pry THE BMW open... but hey... It needs replacing (anyway) Look at eBay... or AMAZON and HAPPY hunting.
