The horn dose not sound when button is pushed on steering wheel. Passenger air bag is off, and how can I turn it on to operational mode

As far as the passenger airbag is concerned - OFF may be normal. This is an excerpt from the owner's manual (page 1-67).

Passenger Sensing System
The vehicle has a passenger sensing system for the
right front passenger position. The passenger airbag
status indicator will be visible when you start the vehicle.
The word OFF or off symbol will be visible near the
clock, located in the center of the instrument panel,
during the system check. See
Passenger Airbag Status
Indicator on page 3-27
.
When the system check is complete, either the words
ON and OFF or the symbol for on and off will be visible
under certain conditions.
The passenger sensing system will turn off the right
front passenger frontal airbag and seat-mounted
side impact airbag (if equipped) under certain conditions.
The driver airbags are not part of the passenger
sensing system.
The passenger sensing system works with a sensor that
is part of the right front passenger seat. The sensor is
designed to detect the presence of a properly-seated
occupant and determine if the right front passenger
frontal airbag and seat-mounted side impact airbag
(if equipped) should be enabled (may inflate) or not.

The horn is another matter. There are four possibilities here. I will list them in order of likelihood:

  1. Bad switch in the steering wheel. These are common failure items.
  2. Bad horn relay
  3. Bad horn assembly itself
  4. Faulty wiring in the horn circuit (including fuse)
You can have the switch(es) replaced in the steering wheel, but they are just as likely to fail again. I have had this issue happen in the past, and I simply went to the bottom of the steering column, found the horn button wire, and installed a dashboard mounted horn button. It is legal in most jurisdictions for inspection purposes as long as the button is easily accessible by the driver.

Had the same exact problem.Found the horn had collected water in the neck of the horn.Froze and split the horn housing, therefore causing that clicking noise inside by the glove box.The horn is located front passenger side in front of the tire / wheel well protector.Check it out first, cause your horn relay is working, your horn is not .Cheaper to get 1 from a auto yard..had this problem twice in the 12 years i had it .Bad location so the 2nd time i relocated to a hirer spot to eliminate water from the tire splash.HAVE NO PROBLEM SINCE been 7 years,

Where is the horn located on a Hyundai Tucson please ??

There are two horns. One on each side, under to the side, under headlight area. The drivers side you can remove the battery for clear access. The passengers side can only be accessed from below the car, due to the A/C lines. The factory connectors are impossible to remove, so be ready to cut the wires.

I have a 1995 sunfire car and i dont know where

It is located behind and below the passenger side headlight. It can be changed yourself, but being an auto technician, I can tell you it's not the easiest to change, it is most accessible from under the car. Remove the lower front splash shield from the right side wheelhouse for access. 13mm socket for the bolt and unplug the wiring harness. If you get a universal horn, you will have to cut the wiring harness to splice in the horn.

Replacing the horn.

OK, here is a step by step guide to help you replace the horn at hand.

Step1 Locate the stock horn. It will be in the front under-hood area of the truck and may be under the battery or inside the area between the fender and the inner fender. Behind the grille is also a possible location for the stock horn.
Disconnect the power wire, which will be attached to a spade on the horn. If possible, remove the horn. The horn will be held in place with a small bolt. Step2 Purchase a replacement horn, either from the dealer or a universal aftermarket model from an automotive parts dealer. Step3 Install the horn in the original mount if a stock horn is the replacement choice. Reconnect the power wire. Step4 Mount a universal horn in the stock bracket if possible, or use a large self-tapping screw and mount in a convenient location using the bracket that is supplied with it. Step5 Connect the wire connector to the horn. In most cases the stock wire connector will simply plug on to the spade connection of the new horn. If it does not fit, cut off the original connector and replace it with a solderless female spade connector and plug that onto the horn terminal. If the horn has two terminals, the other is to be grounded to the car body using a self-tapping screw.

Please rate and god bless:)

I don't know where the horn is located on my 1992 ford bronco, where is it? and what color are the wires the come out of the relay because I want to use the factory horn button and factory relay but put a...

Look between the radiator support and the front grill on the left and right hand sides.
Also,,there is no need to replace the Horn Relay when replacing the horn unless the relay is faulty.
