Why does my front end have a humming sound?
Have you checked the CV Axles? Since the noise goes away turning left to right. Another slim possibility may be the brake calipers but you said humming. And I would (assume- which means not always so) stuck calipers would only make the noise in one direction.

96 chevy cavalier 2.2 turns over but wont start
Tyhe first thing you shd always do on any car with starting problems is to check the spark on the plugs to localize the problem to either fuel or ignition problem. If u have an old spark plug lying around, remove one spark plug wire and attach it to the plug and lay it against the block. If it fires, when the engine turns, then it will most likely be fuel problem.
If it turns out to be fuel problem, you can prove it by using starting fluid carefully into the breather area.

1995 z24 2.3 cavalier won't idle when MAP sensor is plugged in
I usually want to check sensor wiring circuits before replacing anything. As you can see, the map sensor shares ref voltage and ground with others. Orange wire with black tracer is signal return. The gray wire should be ref voltage 5 volts. The signal wire should be lite green. Vacuum for the map sensor is also important. What was actual trouble code was it two digit code or five?

Engine problem with toyota cavalier
Hey Mizz_Kitty
No, its not loose wiring (unless you or someone has been tinkering under the hood)..Do you have gas (are you SURE- add some to make sure - the gauge maybe WRONG!),,There are numerous things that could be wrong... TOO many to cover here.. I would recommend towing this vehicle to a qualified professional and let them diagnose the problem!!
