I have a 2005 saab 9.3 Linear. The car will lose power while going down the road. If you try to start it the light will come on but it will not turn over at all. After 30 minutes to 1 hour the car will start again and run for a few weeks but then repeat the same thing. Any suggestions about what is wrong with it?

Make sure all your injector connectors are clean and not corroded. make sure you have the correct resistor sparkplugs. And if both of those things are okay you probably have a bad direct ignition cassette.

SOURCE: Car was running then cut off going down the road.

U need to have the dealer do that with a special scanner.

could be the solenoid on the starter is going bad. but best bet is to get a whole new stasrter as a new solenoid comes on it. solenoid is almost as expensive as getting both together

Is there fluid leaking out? look at the top rams on sides. You can manually lift your top through the sequence after it unlatches. Fold 5th bow up and raise tonneau and look at rams. Any leak is bad. I could also be low on fluid wich you check at the front edge of trunk, 2 holes 1 for flashlight 1 to ck level. Requires special fluid from saab, do not substitute!
