How to open petrol lid on 08 Saab 93
Ng900 and og9-3 fuel door locks with all the doors, use the remote or central locking switch to unlock all the doors, fuel door should then open. If not then something is wrong, there is an emergency release behind the carpet in the trunk in that corner, look for the yellow tag on a wire.

Interior door handle is broken in saab 93s how do
I'VE GOT A SIMPLE SOLUTION TO THIS PROBLEM! August 16, 2012 My Mother-in-law has a 2004 Saab 9-3 convertible, she wasn't able to find a fix for this problem because the plastic bracket that holds the door cable in place on the inside of the door panel broke off and it's actually part of the door panel itself. Since the bracket broke, pulling on the inside door handle would no longer pull the cable that's need to open the door. She was out of luck and had to roll the window down to use the outside door handle to exit the car (that gets annoying really fast).Basically without rigging it, she would've needed a replacement door panel because of this ridiculos design flaw (around $600 + installation if you could even find the panel, she couldn't because Government Motors SUCKS!) . I simply used an L bracket that I had (can find it at any Home Depot, Lowe's etc.) and used two sets of channel lock pliers to bend it into a "squared" J shape. I then drilled 2 holes into the inside metal door frame and used 2 sheet metal screws to secure the bracket to the door frame. To make sure that I mounted the new and improved bracket that I created in the proper location (not too much or too little slack). I simply made a template with a sheet of paper by tracing where the old molded plastic bracket was in relation to the two screw holes of the door panel ( actually had to mount the bracket about an inch forward to make up the difference since the bracket is no longer attached to the door panel).I also had to drill the **** in the bracket a bit to make sure the cable wouldn't get hung up on it when pulled, but in all it only took 15 mintues to redesign GM's crappy design. Here are 2 pictures, hope this will solve your issue with your broken handle.

2004 Saab 9.3 Conv
Sounds like similar problem I had on my older 93 - one side main beam and brake light not working. Turned out to be a problem with the filament testing relay. Got it resoldered and now ok.
Ignition system diagram
Remove gaiter from around gearlever. If I remember correctly turn key to a position between off and lock and using a piece of wire bent at the end insert into the small hole approx 1inch from top and depress the pin which holds the lock barrel and lift out.
How do i reset the sid display in 2008saab93turbo after replacing battery
pressing the CLEAR button for 8 seconds. on older 9-5 and 9-3 SID's, that you must press CLEAR once & release, then press CLEAR a second time, and hold for 8 seconds. While holding down CLEAR for this second time period, at the 4 second mark "CLEARED" will be displayed, and you will hear 1 beep. If you release the CLEAR button at this point, the DTE and MPG will be cleared out. If you continue holding the CLEAR button past the 4 and 8 second marks, you will hear a 2nd beep, and "SERVICE" will be displayed. This now means that you have cleared and reset the Time For Service message.
