Backfiring into the valves

if you just had the timing belt changed then I suspect that the belt was not installed properly and is probably out at least one tooth. Possibly the cam chain tensioner is the culprit. I’m happy to assist further over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/howard_977676954994c5b2

Change indicator bulb front

Under the hood on the headlight bulb housing you will see what looks like a gray colored fin. That is the bulb holder. Space could be tight. Grab and twist to remove the holder. Many times it's the holder and not the bulb. If you change the bulb or holder do both sides at the same time, it's cheap enough. Replacing piston

If you have 100k miles or more I might not bother with the piston. You're probably better off purchasing a good used motor and having it installed for about he same or less cost unless you plan on doing the work yourself. The piston can be $400 alone. Then labor, gaskets , fluids, maybe another $1000. Then we have to worry about the other pistons. What caused the problem to begin with. Limp mode

Try turning the key to ignition only..do not start the car. Then step on the accelerator three times all the way to the floor. That may reset the learning mode to default. If that doesnt work you may require an updated tranny flash at the dealer. Good luck I’m happy to assist further over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/howard_977676954994c5b2

The car has very little power throughout all gears, almost as if there is a blockage that cannot be located. The camshaft timing had been looked at and set back to where it should be. This has cause

If the timing was incorrect in the first place.. This could have caused piston to valve contact and damaged your valvetrain. Which engine is in your car? Have you had the fault codes of the engine ecu read? There may be faults present which do not illuminate the engine management light
