I have the same issue on my 2002 A4. According to my Audi dealer mechanic, there is a sensor on the front suspension that controls the angle of the headlight. Replacing this may resolve the issue.

Question edited for clarity, (all the typos)! Question moved from Miscellaneous. Perfectly normal. The coolant and radiator cools the engine, but at idle there is no passing air to cool the manifold and exhaust. Just make sure there are no codes and that you are not running lean.

possibly bad internal oil seal inside turbo charger casuing oil into intercooler,,,check pcv valve to make sure its doing its job,,,take to dealer

Faulty door status switches (integrated in the door lock) or hood switch. hard to figure out which ones are bad without a diagnostic tool

Have you checked the radiator cap for proper pressure? Any leaks?

It is located inside the transmission it may be able to be tested from the connector on the side of the transmission though if you have the SDC code for the sensor it will be g-something like G182 for example and looking it up on the wiring diagram for the transmission.

Likely water damage to the central comfort control module, which is (stupidly) located under the carpet. Run a VCDS (RossTech) scan to verify this.

Say Eliz make sure your radiator is full of antifreeze and make sure your over flow is at proper level.. If your low on fluid at all the heater will not get hot water to it to work properly .. this is a good start if it has been working in the past ... and thanks jerry

the best bet is have it serviced its better that poking about in the dark and finding nothing

Bad earth maybe....have you tried a multimeter on the connectors with the ignition on and indicator switch on??

Hi I don't think the lights on the dash board is anything to do with your sticking brake caliper ,it sounds to me like your instrument cluster is faulty Hope this helps Nick

Im not looking to spend alot of money. Impossible with an Audi. Factory shocks run about $1,000 each. Now is not the time to be worrying about money. Shud have done that BEFORE you bought a German car.
