Oil warning light keeps coming on
if you don`t hear any engine noise then its more than likely the oil pressure switch is acting up. this is likely a coincidence that it happened after the oil change. have the oil pressure switch replaced.
Acts like it isn't getting fuel, chokes out
Hello,
Do you have an engine light? Throwing a code?
Just does this at idle or when driving/acceleration?
Acting strange changing symptoms (E.G.--idle to acceleration to black smoke out exhaust, etc.)? Plenty of Gas in tank?
I am thinking: No engine light
Clog in fuel filter
intermittent fuel pump problem
A vehicle starting sensor (E.G.--Throttle Position Sensor (TPS))
Main computer
Engine Light: Pull Code
Sensor
I hope this helps.
Can a 2002 PT Cruiser with a 2.4 regular engine be replaced by a turbo of the same year?
No
it cannot as the certificate of homoglonation which shows your chassis number will show it as a normal asperated engine and changing the engine will cointravine all the europeon laws regarding use and construction of a vehicle ,so when it goes for its yearly mechanical inspection it will fail the test as not conforming to the original specs ,unless youre cousin is the inspector of course but have a accident and the under writer looks at it then your insurance is invalid
How to get code for check engine light
you can use a scan tool or code reader to get the code. the other way is to turn the key to the on position then off 3 times in succession. then you count the flashes. the first number/s will be a long flash then the next number will be a quick flash for a 2 or 3 digit number. then there will be a longer pause for the second number complete number. hope this makes sense. you can go to Google search and type in your year, make, model of car and how to flash codes there should be a short film.
