Van just quit running one
It could be your fuel pump, when you turn your key just befor your engine turns over you should hear your fuel pump engage, its a very faint electrical purr or buzz and a click its a very quiet sound,so if you listen for it the less background sound the better, and a AAA tow truck driver took a miny sledg hammer and banged around my gas tank under my van and it started up and I was able to get to a garage only to replace the fuel pump.Or you can wait till its dark out-side have someone start the engine while you have the hood up and see if you notice a spark anywhere, could be shorting out,or ive heard open your gas cap and try to start it,but im not sure what that would do.
PO505
P0505 Idle Air Control System
Not related to it being slow, only related to engine idle.
Alarm system wont let start car
**Disclaimer**
I do not know how mechanically/electrically inclined you are. Take my advice "with a grain of salt."
Just stick your head under the dashboard and unplug the aftermarket alarm, if it has one it should be obviously stuffed in there. After that you just need to find the "starter cut relay." Usually it is taped, or "zip tied", up under the dash connected to the ignition switch harness. Once you find that, connect the 2 "big" wires together. On a standard "Bosch Style Relay" they will be terminal 87 and 30. The bottom of the aftermarket relay should be marked. From the wiring diagram, the starter signal wire is light blue with a yellow stripe at the ignition switch harness, all the way to the transmission, and black with a yellow stripe at the starter
The car should start fine when you are finished. without lights and horns going off randomly.
