You need to access the UPS software (ViewPower) via a USB cable between a computer and the Mustek PowerMust 745. The documentation for the PowerMust 745 Plus indicates the USB interface works with Windows 98 SE through Windows 8. There may also be Linux and Mac versions of the software: https://www.mustek.de/drivers/ . Note: if you have a Windows 10 or 11, the drivers/software may not work. Most of the time when the LCD screen has gone black it means that the ribbon cable is either loose or a capacitor or or a resister in the main board went bad . Try moving the screen around a little bit to see if the picture is going to show up on the screen on your portable DVD player . You can try returning the item or get it repaired

As it is now 12 years old, I doubt if a suitable charger is still available, quite apart from the condition of the batteries after all this time. If I were you, I should bite the bullet and replace it with a more up-to-date model.

Try formatting the SD card in the camera, not in windows.

Did u insert them in the right position? Check if there is any little card icon for the way to insert. Also try push it in until you hear a click (that should be about 1-2 mm deeper then the slot surface level.)

Unit is no good. When power is interrupted during an upgrade this usually screws up everything and you are left with a paper weight. Basically, the unit has been lobotomized.

Yes the Mustek A3 2400S can run on OS X 10.8. Go to http://www.mustek.com.tw/support/driver-manual-downloads.html . Check the serial number of your Mustek A3 2400S scanner. Then use the drop-down menus in the left column of the page to choose the scanner model and indicate the first three alphanumeric characters of the serial number. Then select Driver and ayour OS. The Mustek site has a driver for the D3K models that covers OS X 10.7-10.12. For the scanners with D18 serial numbers, there is a driver for OS X 10.6-10.8 and a second driver for OS X 10.8-10.11. find an old XP version and right click on exe then compatible , tick box then select xp service pack 2. them apply. run exe as admin it load in fine and as it should.

Such is the problem with many products for Win7. But Win7 64 bit seem to accept such drivers.
