Portable DVD player. Why is there no video display?
Most of the time when the LCD screen has gone black it means that the ribbon cable is either loose or a capacitor or or a resister in the main board went bad . Try moving the screen around a little bit to see if the picture is going to show up on the screen on your portable DVD player . You can try returning the item or get it repaired
Lense not reading properly
Check to see if it is not the lens, but rather the fact that the little tab on the lid that closes the disc compartment is not making firm contact with the mechanism that tells the disc to play. I had the same problem (player would play for a couple of minutes, then it's stop and I'd get an "Open" message. I called Mustek and they unhelpfully suggested various tricks to do with the lens carriage, none of which worked. On my own a carved a matchstick to the shape of the tab on the lid, and stuck it in there. That worked! Eventually (since you can't watch it with the lid up), I just put some duct tape (a little pice) around the tab, and that has worked like a charm. Makes it hard to open the lid again (I use a knife to pry it up), but hey--the player works now!

I have no way to charge my mustek dv520t
As it is now 12 years old, I doubt if a suitable charger is still available, quite apart from the condition of the batteries after all this time. If I were you, I should bite the bullet and replace it with a more up-to-date model.

Mustek DV300 won't take card.
Did u insert them in the right position?
Check if there is any little card icon for the way to insert.
Also try push it in until you hear a click (that should be about 1-2 mm deeper then the slot surface level.)
PL-607 Still not Operating.
Unit is no good. When power is interrupted during an upgrade this usually screws up everything and you are left with a paper weight. Basically, the unit has been lobotomized.

Yes the Mustek A3 2400S can run on OS X 10.8.
Go to
http://www.mustek.com.tw/support/driver-manual-downloads.html . Check the serial number of your Mustek A3 2400S scanner. Then use the drop-down menus in the left column of the page to choose the scanner model and indicate the first three alphanumeric characters of the serial number. Then select Driver and ayour OS. The Mustek site has a driver for the D3K models that covers OS X 10.7-10.12. For the scanners with D18 serial numbers, there is a driver for OS X 10.6-10.8 and a second driver for OS X 10.8-10.11.
